Oxygen and Acetylene Pressure Gauges
Product Description

Product Applications:

Oxygen pressure gauges are suitable for measuring the pressure of oxygen media. Contact with oil and grease is strictly prohibited.
Acetylene pressure gauges are suitable for measuring the pressure of acetylene media.
Accuracy Class: 2.5.
Measuring Range: 0-0.1 to 0-4 MPa.

An oxygen pressure gauge is an instrument used to measure oxygen pressure. The pressure gauge measures gauge pressure.

Due to the strong oxidizing properties of oxygen, special pressure gauges are required for measuring oxygen pressure. These instruments are known as oxygen pressure gauges. National regulations specify clear requirements and standards for oxygen pressure gauges. These mainly include two aspects: no contact with any oil or grease during component manufacturing, assembly, and calibration, and a red oil-free warning symbol on the dial.

The safety of oxygen pressure gauges mainly depends on whether the manufacturer's entire production process strictly complies with relevant national regulations. Currently, some manufacturers clean ordinary pressure gauges with carbon tetrachloride and then sell them as oxygen pressure gauges, which can easily lead to safety accidents. Therefore, it is recommended to choose a reliable manufacturer when purchasing oxygen pressure gauges.

Oxygen pressure gauge models include YO-60, YO-100, YO-150, etc., with pressure ranges up to 60 MPa.

Differences Between Oxygen Pressure Gauges and Ordinary Pressure Gauges:

The main difference between oxygen pressure gauges and ordinary pressure gauges is that oxygen pressure gauges must be completely free of oil. During final calibration, oxygen pressure gauges are calibrated using gas or water, while ordinary pressure gauges are generally calibrated using oil.

Although oxygen itself is not flammable, it supports combustion. Therefore, oxygen pressure gauges must be kept strictly free of oil and grease.

Structural Principle:

The basic structure of an oxygen pressure gauge is essentially the same as that of an ordinary pressure gauge.

Main Functions:

Oxygen pressure gauges are used to measure oxygen pressure and display the measured value numerically.

Ordinary pressure gauges are used to measure pressure, including atmospheric pressure and pressure within pipelines containing liquids or gases.

Difference: Oxygen pressure gauges feature an O2 marking, while ordinary pressure gauges generally display only numerical pressure scales.

Valve Operating Direction:

According to the original description, oxygen pressure gauges use a clockwise operating direction, while combustible gas pressure gauges use a counterclockwise operating direction, mainly to prevent incorrect operation.
