Product Description

Product Introduction

Vibration-resistant precision pressure gauges are mainly used for calibrating general industrial pressure gauges. They can also be used for precision measurement of pressure and vacuum in various non-crystallizing, non-solidifying media that are non-corrosive to copper alloys, steel, and other materials. They are widely used in industrial production processes, precision measurement applications, and scientific research laboratories.
Vibration-resistant precision pressure gauges are filled with damping liquid and equipped with cushioning devices,
providing excellent vibration resistance.
Accuracy Class: 0.4.
Measuring Range: 0-0.1 to 0-60 MPa.

The working principle of a precision pressure gauge is as follows: When the pressure of the measured medium acts on the elastic sensing element, it causes elastic deformation and displacement. This displacement is amplified by a transmission mechanism driven by a connecting rod, and the measured pressure is indicated by the indicating device.

Precision pressure gauges are classified into two accuracy classes: 0.25% and 0.4%.

Measuring Range Classification

Classification of Precision Pressure Gauges by Measuring Range:

1. Micro-Pressure Gauges (instruments with an upper measuring limit below 0.1 MPa).

2. Low-Pressure Gauges (instruments with an upper measuring limit from 0.1 MPa, inclusive, to 6 MPa, inclusive).

3. Medium-Pressure Gauges (instruments with an upper measuring limit from 10 MPa, inclusive, to 60 MPa, inclusive).

4. High-Pressure Gauges (instruments with an upper measuring limit greater than 60 MPa and up to 160 MPa, inclusive).

5. Ultra-High-Pressure Gauges (instruments with an upper measuring limit greater than 160 MPa).

Applications and Components

1. The instrument consists of a measuring system, an indicating mechanism, and a housing assembly.

2. Measuring System — Consists of a connector, Bourdon tube, gear transmission mechanism, and other components.

3. Under the pressure of the measured medium, the free end of the Bourdon tube undergoes a corresponding displacement. Through a connecting rod, this movement drives the sector gear in the transmission mechanism, producing an angular displacement that rotates the gear shaft and transmits the movement to the indicating mechanism.

4. Indicating Mechanism — Consists of a graduated dial, mirror (the YB-201 model does not have a mirror), pointer, and other components. The pointer indicates the measured pressure value on the graduated dial according to the angular displacement of the gear shaft.

5. Housing Assembly — Consists of the case cover, glass window, and housing. A zero-adjustment device is provided at the lower end of the case cover to maintain accurate zero positioning and readings.

Calibration After Use

Basic Calibration Requirements:

1) Environmental Conditions: If calibration is performed in a verification or calibration laboratory, the environmental conditions must meet the laboratory's temperature, humidity, and other requirements. If calibration is performed on-site, the environmental conditions must satisfy the requirements for the instrument's actual operating environment.

2) Reference Instruments: The permissible error limit of the reference instrument used for calibration should be between 1/3 and 1/10 of the permissible error limit of the instrument being calibrated.

3) Personnel: Although calibration differs from verification, personnel performing calibration must undergo appropriate assessments and obtain the relevant qualification certificates. Only qualified personnel may issue calibration certificates and calibration reports, and only such certificates and reports are considered valid.

Tire pressure gauge calibration can be performed by local metrology institutes or third-party calibration organizations, such as the Shanghai Institute of Measurement and Testing Technology, Guangdong metrology institutes, and Suzhou metrology calibration service providers. All such organizations must hold the relevant nationally recognized CNAS accreditation.
