Ammonia Pressure Gauges are specialized instruments designed to measure the pressure of gaseous and liquid ammonia that are non-corrosive to ordinary carbon steel, alloy structural steel, austenitic stainless steel, and tin-lead alloy brazing materials, and that do not crystallize or solidify. They are mainly used to measure the pressure of liquid ammonia, gaseous ammonia, or their mixtures in fertilizer production equipment and other applications. Since contact between the measured medium and copper or copper alloys may cause an explosion, a yellow horizontal warning line must be marked below the product name on the instrument dial.
Product Applications
Ammonia Pressure Gauges are mainly used to measure the pressure of liquid ammonia, gaseous ammonia, or their mixtures in fertilizer production processes and refrigeration equipment. They can also be used to measure the pressure of various non-crystallizing and non-solidifying media that are non-corrosive to ordinary carbon steel and austenitic stainless steel.
