Product Applications:
Diaphragm Pressure Gauges are suitable for measuring positive or negative pressure in various fluid media that are moderately corrosive, viscous, non-crystallizing, or non-solidifying. Diaphragms made of different materials can be selected according to the corrosion resistance requirements of the measured medium.
Instruments with stainless steel housings can be used in harsh operating environments.
Accuracy Class: 2.5.
Measurement Range: 0-0.06 to 0-2.5 MPa, 0-1.6 to 0-40 kPa.
Diaphragm Pressure Gauge
Suitable for measuring positive or negative pressure in various fluid media that are moderately corrosive, non-solidifying, or non-crystallizing.
Corrosion resistance depends on the diaphragm material.
The pressure transmission system and housing of the Stainless Steel Corrosion-Resistant Diaphragm Pressure Gauge are made of stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance. It is mainly used in the chemical, petroleum, and textile industries to measure low pressures of gases and liquids, particularly in highly corrosive and viscous media that are non-solidifying and non-crystallizing.
The Vibration-Resistant Diaphragm Pressure Gauge is filled with damping fluid and equipped with a matching cushioning device, providing good vibration resistance. It maintains stable measurement under strong pressure pulsations, pressure shocks, sudden pressure unloading during production processes, and significant environmental vibrations.
The Corrosion-Resistant and Vibration-Resistant Diaphragm Pressure Gauge combines the characteristics of both corrosion-resistant and vibration-resistant diaphragm pressure gauges.
Structure and Working Principle of Diaphragm Pressure Gauges:
The instrument consists of a measuring system (including a flange connection and corrugated diaphragm), a transmission and indicating mechanism (including connecting rods, a gear transmission mechanism, pointer, and dial), and a housing (including the case and bezel). The instrument housing features a splash-resistant structure with good sealing performance, protecting the internal mechanism from contamination.
The instrument operates based on the elastic deformation of the sensing element (the diaphragm in the measuring system). Under the pressure of the measured medium, the diaphragm undergoes corresponding elastic deformation and displacement. This displacement is transmitted and amplified through the connecting rod assembly and transmission mechanism, causing the pointer mounted on the gear to indicate the measured value on the dial.

Calibration Equipment:
1. Requirements for Reference Instruments
The absolute value of the maximum permissible error of the reference instrument must not exceed one-quarter of the absolute value of the maximum permissible error of the diaphragm pressure gauge.
2. Selection of Calibration Equipment for Diaphragm Pressure Gauges
A pressure calibrator or vacuum calibrator may be selected.
Calibration Items:
Indication error, hysteresis error, tapping displacement, and pointer movement stability.
Calibration Methods:
1. Indication Error Calibration: The pressure gauge shall be calibrated at the numbered scale marks. During calibration, gradually and steadily increase (or decrease) the pressure. When the indicated value reaches the upper measurement limit, disconnect the pressure source and maintain the pressure for 3 minutes. Then steadily decrease (or increase) the pressure and check the calibration points in reverse order.
2. Hysteresis Error: At the same calibration point, the difference between the readings obtained during increasing (or decreasing) pressure and decreasing (or increasing) pressure must comply with the specified absolute permissible error.
3. Tapping Displacement: At each calibration point, during both increasing (or decreasing) and decreasing (or increasing) pressure, the change in indication caused by lightly tapping the gauge housing must not exceed one-half of the specified absolute permissible error.
4. Indication Error: At each calibration point, during increasing (or decreasing) and decreasing (or increasing) pressure, the differences between the pressure gauge readings before and after lightly tapping the housing and the reference instrument readings must meet the specified requirements.
Selection of Temperature Coefficient:
When using the formula △=±(δ+k△t), the temperature coefficient k is 0.04%/℃ for metal diaphragms and 0.06%/℃ for coated diaphragms.
