Product Description

Product Applications:

Stainless Steel Pressure Gauges are widely used in industrial sectors such as petroleum, chemical processing, chemical fiber production, metallurgy, and power plants to measure the pressure of various fluid media in processes requiring high corrosion resistance and vibration resistance.

Accuracy Classes: 2.5 and 1.6.
Measurement Range: 0-0.1 to 0-100 MPa, -0.1-0, -0.1-2.4 MPa.

The Stainless Steel Pressure Gauge consists of a pressure transmission system (including the connector, Bourdon tube, flow restrictor screw, etc.), gear transmission mechanism, indicating device (pointer and dial), and housing (including the case, cover, and gauge window).

The pressure gauge operates through the elastic deformation of stainless steel sensing elements (Bourdon tube, diaphragm capsule, or bellows). The movement mechanism inside the gauge transmits this deformation to the pointer, causing it to rotate and indicate the pressure.

For liquid-filled instruments (generally filled with silicone oil or glycerin), the filling helps withstand strong vibrations in the operating environment and reduces the effects of pressure pulsations in the measured medium.

Protection Ratings for Vibration-Resistant Housings:

IP54;IP55;IP65;IP66

The IP protection rating consists of two digits. The first digit indicates the level of protection against dust and the ingress of solid foreign objects; the second digit indicates the degree of protection against moisture and water ingress. Higher numbers indicate higher levels of protection. The protection ratings represented by the two digits are described below:

IP54 Features: Dust Protection and Water Resistance.

The first digit, 5, indicates dust protection; the second digit, 4, indicates protection against splashing water.

IP55 Features: Dust Protection and Water Resistance.

The first digit, 5, indicates dust protection; the second digit, 5, indicates protection against water jets.

IP65 provides good sealing performance for vibration-resistant instruments. Advantages: Dust-tight protection and resistance to water jets. Suitable for vibration-resistant and explosion-proof instruments and applications in harsh operating environments.

The first digit, 6, indicates complete dust-tight protection. The second digit, 5, indicates protection against water jets.

IP66 Features: Dust Protection and Water Resistance.

The first digit, 6, indicates complete dust-tight protection. The second digit, 6, indicates protection against powerful water jets.

IP65 vibration-resistant pressure gauges are equipped with a blow-out plug. Its function is to relieve excessive internal pressure and prevent the measuring medium from being ejected through the front of the pressure gauge, potentially causing injury. Therefore, the blow-out plug is installed at the rear of the gauge.

Installation Precautions:

1. Selection of the Pressure Measurement Point: The selected point should accurately reflect the actual pressure of the measured medium.

(1) Select a straight section of pipe where the measured medium flows steadily. Avoid pipe bends, branches, dead ends, or other locations where vortices may form.

(2) When measuring the pressure of a flowing medium, the pressure tapping point should be perpendicular to the flow direction, and any burrs around the drilled hole should be removed.

(3) When measuring liquid pressure, the pressure tapping point should be located at the lower part of the pipeline to prevent gas from accumulating in the pressure transmission tube. When measuring gas pressure, the pressure tapping point should be located at the upper part of the pipeline to prevent liquid from accumulating in the pressure transmission tube.
