Product Applications:
The Electric Contact Pressure Gauge is suitable for measuring the pressure of various liquids, gases, and other media that are non-corrosive to copper alloys, non-explosive, and non-crystallizing. When used with appropriate electrical devices, the instrument enables preset two-position automatic control and signaling (alarm) at the maximum or minimum pressure limits of the measured pressure system.
Accuracy Classes: 2.5 and 1.6.
Measurement Range: 0–0.1 to 0–100 MPa, -0.1–0, -0.1–2.4 MPa.
The Electric Contact Pressure Gauge consists of a measuring system, indicating system, magnetic-assisted electrical contact device, housing, adjustment mechanism, and junction box (connector socket).
Standard Electric Contact Pressure Gauges are used to measure positive and negative pressures of gaseous and liquid media that are non-corrosive to copper and copper alloys. Stainless Steel Electric Contact Pressure Gauges are used to measure positive and negative pressures of gaseous and liquid media that are non-corrosive to stainless steel. When the pressure reaches a preset value, the gauge sends a signal and activates the control circuit to provide automatic control and alarm functions.
The working principle of the Electric Contact Pressure Gauge is based on the Bourdon tube in the measuring system. Under the pressure of the measured medium, the free end of the Bourdon tube undergoes corresponding elastic deformation and displacement. This displacement is transmitted and amplified through a connecting rod and gear transmission mechanism, causing the pointer (together with its contact) mounted on the gear to indicate the measured pressure value on the dial. At the same time, when the moving contact touches the contact on the preset pointer (upper or lower limit), the control circuit is opened or closed, thereby achieving automatic control and alarm signaling.
